FAQs

  • Both! We have 20 lanes dedicated to 5-pin and four lanes dedicated to 10-pin bowling.

  • Our 5-pin bowling balls average 3 lbs 8oz, and 10-pin bowling balls range from 6 to 15 lbs.

  • We recommend four to five bowlers per lane – six at the most.

  • Our facility can accommodate up to 182 people, with the maximum amount of 144 bowling.

  • Our biggest adult shoe size is men’s 15; for children, size 9 is our smallest shoe.

  • Yes! We have socks available for $2.99 + tax / pair. We suggest all bowlers to wear socks in the bowling shoes.

  • Unfortunately, no – we are not wheelchair accessible. We are located on the second floor and do not have elevator access.

  • Yes! All our lanes have bumper lanes, available at no extra cost.

  • Absolutely, Bingo Bowling is available when you rent the lane(s) by the hour. Bingo bowling is a game where you get a bingo card with bowling scores. The goal is to fill in your whole card before the other team(s).

  • Absolutely!

  • The Dino Ramps are designed to help children, ages 6 and under, move their ball down the lane.

  • Absolutely! While you are bowling, simply enter your email address into our system and you will receive your scoresheet after the game. You can also log in to sync passport to keep track of all your visits and bowling average.

  • An average game takes about 10-12 minutes per player. If six people bowl, the game will probably take about an hour.

  • Yes! We are a licenced establishment and offer a full food and drink menu. This includes beer, coolers, wine and spirits.

  • No, outside food or beverages are not permitted inside our establishment. Our only exception is cake/cupcakes for celebratory events. Any liquor that is brought into our establishment will be confiscated and not returned.

  • Yes, we allow food and drink to be consumed at the tables at your lanes.

  • Yes, if you leave a valid credit card for us to use – no exceptions.

  • Yes, at the front door.

  • We accept cash, interact, Visa or Mastercard.

  • No, we do not add any tips/gratuity to any bills.

  • Absolutely! To book an event or reserve a lane, please contact us at 204-256-7333 or dakotalanes@shaw.ca.

  • All reservations that require booking three lanes or more are subject to a $20/lane deposit with the remainder due at time of reservation. We require 48-hour notice for any changes or cancellation to your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future date.

    All group events (i.e. Birthday parties, windups, corporate events) require a $50 deposit.

House Rules

  • Outdoor shoes are not allowed to be worn past shoe rack. No exceptions.

  • Outside food or beverages are not permitted inside our establishment except for cake/cupcakes for celebratory events.

  • If you have food allergies, please contact us before arrival – we may be able to accommodate.

  • Any liquor that is brought into our establishment will be confiscated and not returned. Patrons may be asked to leave without refund.

  • Backpacks and duffle bags are not permitted at lanes.

  • Vaporizers are not allowed to be used inside premises.

  • Only six people are allowed to bowl on a lane. Groups of seven or more will need additional lanes, no exceptions.

  • All group bookings require a deposit.

  • We have locker rentals available for $2/locker.
